GlareControl lenses are chemically tempered to meet FDA requirements, but they are not unbreakable or shatterproof.
 
 GlareControl lenses do not meet some ANSI Traffic Signal requirements and are not recommended for driving.
 
 GlareCutter lenses do not meet some ANSI Traffic Signal requirements.  A very small percentage of people (less than 1%) will have trouble recognizing the color of traffic signals while wearing the lenses.  Before you wear the lenses while driving, you should verify that you are able to recognize the color of traffic signals.
